About the future ...

We do our better to give you the super experience with your operating system.
But what is very important in an operating system is design. And in the Harmony Team, we didn't have any designer, just two coders. I was doing my best to create simple design and modern things, but our "competitor", Xone, had a better design.
As the man who is behind Xone was an old friend, we decided ... to work together !
So from today, they are some several changes to Harmony Team architecture with a new designer and the eventually exit of UnderCore from the team. We'll think about a new name, we found now "Trioware" but we have to see if we're again three !
The work with Heigo, the lead designer of Harmony began already and we're now working on new LogIn screen which is awesome and modern.

NeXT HiFi Rev2 released for Windows !

Dear testers, today is a really great day for us.
To make you able to test our new NeXT HiFi, we compiled it for ... Windows !
So it doesn't check if Harmony is opened or doesn't have the Communication Foundation Code, but it works fine on Windows. We need you test it and we need your reports and your suggestions to make it better. The Rev2 is avalaible on demand at yil2201 @ gmail.com.

We improved those points :
- Core Effetcs with a new effect in the titlebar
- Fixed a bug from NeXT Player while trying to open broken id3 tags
- Completely new design from scratch
- OpenDialog bugs while trying to open m4a files
- Added an icon and informations to the Windows' executable
- Added MiniWindow

A new Harmony (animated) logo !

Hi. We're keeping working on the next version of Harmony with UnderCore.
We made a new connect screen with the Harmony Ball, click on it and it opens itself to show users images.
That was a great idea from UnderCore. All of this is animated and really modern.

We have also something new and really modern ... it is our animated logo !
OlivierCros worked a lot on it, and he will send us the final project !
We decided together about the animation and he mades it !

Introducing an amazing feature ... MultiDesktops !

Harmony has now multi desktops support ! You can now manage your windows in 4 differents areas. Write a text on desktop 1 and write a mail and surf on the internet on another desktops ! This feature will be a part of the coming Beta 5 !

Great and bad news ...

Hi! We worked really hard on DigitalPoster since our last message. And we're happy to announce that from today, DigitalPoster 1.5 is avalaible for the public ( Due to servers problems, the update will be avalaible tomorrow )! We tested it with official beta testers of the team, and we fixed all the bugs. Except bugs fixes, there are no changes in features since the last message. We'll do a lot of advertissing with Nieware, and we want to make this product known. It is the great fruit of the relationship between our two "companies". That was great news. Now bad news ... We tested Windows Vista! We were really disapointed! How slow it is! How buggy it is still ! Open two applications on a laptop and the third doesn't respond... When you see Windows Vista you feel like watching a demo of Steve Jobs! This is finnaly a bad product that we don't advice you to buy. And ho, yes ... if you want one of the best features of Vista, the Glass effect, you have to pay 320$!! And Harmony is free ! But, for users who have Windows Vista, we'll work to make it compatible. If you have Windows Vista, join us and become a beta tester!

DigitalPoster dead ? Not at all.

With Nieware Solutions, we worked on a fantastic project called "DigitalPoster". We had a final release, version 1.0 which has been published on the web. This version was really buggy and functions weren't complete. Today, Harmony Team decided to work again on that soft. We didn't recode it from scratch, we began from the version 1.0 source code and made a beautiful and fully working version 1.5 ! So if you want to test the meeting of the Harmony Power and the Nieware Design, you'll be able in 1 week !
We'll just debug the little parts of the application to make it working with Harmony OS and XONE. Yeah ... as you saw, DigitalPoster is not a "NeXT" app, so it will work on Windows, Harmony and XONE ! It will be of course a piece of the Harmony System.

What's new in version 1.5 ?
- Finnaly fixed the after publish bug !!
- Improved Webcam importation, working well !!
- Removed the buggy updater, use built-in updater
- Improved some UI in dialogs
- Fixed a background bug which displayed the color only under the menu.
- Improved Harmony and XONE intergration.
- The work is now from Harmony Team, not Yil2201 Productions.

Harmony won't be ported on Macs !

We writed on our website that Harmony will be ported to Mac OS X soon.
We annonce today that we won't port it. It is bad and useless idea, we explain why we think that on our website in french.

NeXT applications ...

What are NeXT applications ?

All those applications will be parts of the Harmony OS. To make you able to see the apps for Harmony we release and the apps for Mac OS X we release, we decided to release applications for Harmony with a "NeXT" name. So, NeXT Messenger, NeXT Discover ( the new name of NeXT Explorer ) will be developped ONLY for Harmony. Those applications are really fantastic. They have all a beautiful "Stripes" UI and understable functions. They won't be ported on other platforms than Harmony.
We are sorry about the Nieware Xone project, but they have to understand that our apps are a benefit for our OS !

So, where is Harmony ?

You may ask where is the dev of Harmony.
Harmony is doing really well. This week is especially a debug part of the Harmony project.
We are working to debug all the features and all the applications that we made to build and create new features from a working well base. I think this is a part which Nieware forgot ...
Xone project is focused on "WOW" effects as they call it. The effects aren't the most important part of an operating system! You need a lot of applications to have a multi-task system and to be able to work ONLY on this system. We understood that and so, we are happy to announce that we have 10 working applications "Made For Harmony". They aren't really advanced as Xone Sidebar or so, but they are stable and they are working really well. Other features will be added in the future, when the team will have time to do so. But now, Harmony is totally stable. We tested it on modern processors as the release will be in next months, those processors will be normal processors and the speed was incredible ! Rolling effect at startup hadn't been so fast ! ( Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz )
You'll can soon test a preview release of Harmony, this is why we were debugging this build :)
